Provisional Accessibility Statement

Introduction

At Grupo Alsa, we are committed to universal digital accessibility, working continuously to ensure that our digital assets are usable by everyone, regardless of their abilities, age, or personal circumstances.

Our Accessibility Statement is based on the harmonised European technical standard EN 301 549 in its latest version, which is the European digital accessibility standard approved by the European Commission. This standard defines the accessibility requirements for technological products and services.

The scope of this statement covers the digital web asset https://trenesturisticos.es, excluding embedded content originating from third-party domains. However, Grupo Alsa and its third-party providers maintain an active commitment to improving the accessibility of external content integrated into its digital asset, with the goal of providing as inclusive a digital experience as possible.

Our objective is to carry out ongoing monitoring and correction of potential digital accessibility barriers, in order to deliver an inclusive and barrier-free experience for all users.

Beyond regulatory compliance, Grupo Alsa aims to exceed legal requirements regarding digital accessibility. Our commitment is to achieve the highest accessibility standards, with the goal of meeting Level AAA criteria, continuously improving the usability of our digital products, and obtaining certifications that endorse our excellence in accessibility.

To achieve this goal, we have implemented a comprehensive digital accessibility service (S.I.A.), which deploys integral corrective measures: specialised training for our teams, systems for continuous assessment and improvement of accessibility, and proactive measures across both our websites and mobile applications, with the ultimate purpose of guaranteeing a truly universal and inclusive digital experience.

Adopted Criteria

Grupo Alsa complies with the EN 301 549 standard to ensure the digital accessibility of its digital assets. Some of the ongoing improvement actions to enhance content accessibility include:

  • (9.1.1.1) A thorough review of all significant images is being carried out to ensure they include suitable alternative text (alt), ensuring that visual information is also accessible to people with visual impairments.

  • (9.1.3.1) Page markup is being reviewed so that information, structure, and visual relationships are programmatically determined and interpretable by assistive technologies.

  • (9.1.4.3) Automated and manual tools are being used to verify that the contrast between text and background meets the minimum requirements needed to ensure readability.

  • (9.1.4.4) Verification is underway to ensure that content can be zoomed up to 200% using browser features without loss of functionality or truncation of information.

  • (9.1.4.11) The contrast of user interface components and graphical objects against adjacent colours is being reviewed to ensure they are clearly perceived.

  • (9.2.4.4) Link text wording is being reinforced to make it more descriptive in its own right and understandable without the need for additional context.

  • (9.2.5.3) The accessible name of each control is being aligned with the visible label that accompanies it, benefiting users who navigate via speech input.

  • (9.3.1.1) Verification is underway to ensure that the primary language of the website is correctly defined in the code, facilitating its reading by assistive technologies.

  • (9.4.1.2) Work is ongoing to enhance the semantic accessibility of all custom components, ensuring that they properly communicate their role, state, and value to assistive technologies.
